I was inspired to become a teacher because of my love for children. From a young age, I found joy in caring for and teaching the children in my community.

One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was guiding a class from Grade One through to Grade Four. By the time they reached Grade Six and sat their assessments, the school was recognized among the top performers. That foundation made all the difference.

Throughout my journey, I encountered many unforgettable moments with my students, some joyful, others challenging. I remember one pupil in particular who was often neglected and avoided by others. I chose to care for him, providing basic necessities and encouragement. Over time, I witnessed a remarkable transformation in him.

There were also difficult moments, including times when I faced accusations that were not true. Despite this, I remained committed to my calling.

To the next generation of teachers: be dedicated, patient, and empathetic. Above all, have a genuine love for what you do.

Celebrating Khadeen 🎉👏👏

Congratulations to Khadeen Holder for her exceptional performance at this year’s Regional Mashramani Competition. Khadeen secured first place in the Dramatic Poetry Competition (8-10 category). She then went on to represent Region 4 at the National Mashramani Competition. We are so proud of Khadeen’s achievement and look forward to her future success stories ❤️❤️❤️✨

In observance of Guyana’s 56th Republic Anniversary our pupils engaged in a flag raising ceremony. We are proud to celebrate and promote the rich history of our beautiful country.

Our teachers and learners participated in a planned Career Day Activity in an effort to reinforce the importance of education.

Thanks to all of our parents who continuously support activities that help to enrich the learning experiences of our children.
