As the Queen’s College Class of 2026 celebrated a major milestone, the Queen’s College Old Students’ Association (QC-OSA) was honored to welcome the newest members of the alumni family.
President Devindra Kissoon served as the guest speaker, sharing words of inspiration and encouragement with the graduating class as they prepared for the journey ahead. Representing QC-OSA, Executive Member Waynace Forde and Public Relations Officer Quissieana Odle presented graduates with a small token, a reminder of the institution that has shaped generations of excellence.
The occasion was made even more special with the presence of Vice-President Christopher Belfield and IPP & Executive Member Pauline Chase, whose words of wisdom encouraged the graduates to stay connected, give back, and become active members of a community built on pride, service, and lifelong fellowship.

♟️ The Prize Giving Ceremony for the 4th Annual QC-OSA/Yolander Persaud-Sammy Queen’s College Individual Chess Tournament, generously sponsored by Queen’s College alumna Ms. Yolander Persaud-Sammy, was held on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
The event celebrated the dedication, skill, and achievements of our student players, with certificates and prizes presented to the tournament’s top performers.

On May 19, 2026, the Queen’s College Chess Club was pleased to receive a generous donation of chess sets from distinguished alumnus Mr. L. M. Ramgopal.
Alumnus Ramgopal, who is a former Queen's College junior and senior chess champion and represented Guyana at the junior level, is also the proud sponsor of QC-OSA's annual Inter-House Chess Tournament. His continued support plays a vital role in fostering strategic thinking and sportsmanship.
We are truly grateful for his contribution and commitment to the club’s growth.
