Today, our little ones had a wonderful time celebrating our Day of the Elderly. They came dressed as adorable grandmothers and grandfathers, making the day both fun and meaningful.

This activity was held to help our children develop love, respect, appreciation and care for our elderly and to recognize the important role that older persons play in our families and communities. Through activities like these, we teach our children that our elders are a treasured part of our society, with valuable experiences, stories and wisdom to share.

Yesterday, our little learners had a wonderful time celebrating Amerindian Heritage Month through a fun and creative Amerindian Craft Day.

The children used beads, twine and other craft materials to create beautiful necklaces, bracelets and other pieces inspired by Indigenous art and culture.

Through this hands-on activity, our children were able to learn about, appreciate and celebrate the rich culture, traditions and valuable contributions of Guyana’s Indigenous peoples.

Celebrating Special Moments at Bel Air Nursery School.

The p Celebrating Special Moments at Bel Air Nursery School! ✨🎉

The past week has been filled with wonderful memories at Bel Air Nursery School.

On Friday, June 26, 2026, we proudly celebrated our Closing Exercise and Prize Giving Ceremony, where we recognized the achievements of our learners and bid a fond farewell to our graduating class. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and wish them every success as they begin their primary school journey.

We ended the celebrations with our delightful Mini Prom on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, where our children looked absolutely adorable, dressed as little princesses and princes. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, dancing, and unforgettable moments.

A heartfelt thank you to our parents, staff, and everyone who contributed to making these events so special. Your continued support and partnership helped create lasting memories for our children.

Today, we proudly celebrated our Pre-Father’s Day Breakfast with Daddy and Me at Bel Air Nursery School. It was a wonderful morning filled with smiles and special moments shared between our children and their fathers, grandfathers, and father figures.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the dads and father figures who took the time to join us and make this event memorable. Your involvement play an important role in the lives of our children.

Today at Bel Air Nursery School, we had a beautiful time celebrating our “Lunch with Mommy and Me” activity. Although our Mother’s Day activity was originally planned for last week Friday, due to the holiday and the rainy weather, we decided to postpone it to today and it was definitely worth the wait.

The fathers/father figures in the child’s life sponsored the mother as they came out and had lunch with their child. It was an afternoon of lunch, laughter and special moments as the mother and child bond grew even stronger. These are the memories that help strengthen the bond between home and school.

Thank you as usual to my awesome staff for always showing up and showing out. Thank you to all the fathers/ father figures who supported and made today so special . Thank you also to H&M Catering for their delicious food. We will be doing it even bigger and better for Father’s Day.
