The Guyana School of Agriculture (GSA) once again demonstrated its commitment to developing skilled agricultural professionals through its Annual Final Year Agro-Processing Exhibition, where students showcased exceptional creativity, innovation, and technical expertise.

The exhibition provided an educational platform for students to apply their knowledge in Food Science, Technology, and Agribusiness Management by developing a range of value-added products from locally available agricultural resources. Their projects reflected not only innovation and entrepreneurship but also the practical skills required to support the growth and diversification of Guyana's agricultural sector.

The event highlighted the significant opportunities emerging within Guyana's agro-processing industry and reinforced the critical role of value addition in enhancing food security, reducing post-harvest losses, creating employment, and supporting sustainable economic development. Through research, product development, and business planning, students demonstrated how agriculture can be transformed into competitive and profitable enterprises.

GSA remains dedicated to providing quality agricultural education and training, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to contribute meaningfully to national development and the advancement of Guyana's agri-food sector.
