In perpetuating and reclaiming Fino’ CHamoru, the CHamoru Studies program aims to revitalize and sustain a CHamoru-literate community through the development of a steady cohort of proficient CHamoru-speaking and -writing graduates.

The Micronesian Studies Program met over the sunny weekend to share stories and great food at the Piti Canoe House.

Students, professors, and family enjoyed a small gathering with fresh coconut, barbecued fish, and the cool island breeze. The program deeply appreciates all the community support and interest it has received over the years.
