Medical Assistants are the only allied health professionals specifically trained to work in ambulatory settings, such as physicians’ offices, clinics, and group practices. These multi-skilled personnel can perform administrative and clinical procedures. 🏥

Students! Are you in the medical assisting/allied health program? If you are, then we got some NEWS for you! If you meet the requirements in your CTE program in high school, then you may be eligible for college credits! 🩺⚕️

Did you know? High School Students can earn a Certificate of Mastery upon graduating from high school. Through GCC’s Dual Credit Articulated Programs of Study (DCAPS), you can earn from six to 19 credits (depending on the program) and will carry over to a GCC Postsecondary Program if declared as your major upon enrollment at GCC after graduating from high school

Technology has changed the ways business operates. With the emphasis in electronics, PC systems and networking, this program can provide the necessary training to meet the demands of industry. With courses such as Electricity I & II, IT essentials I & II, and Computer Networking I & II, the certificate for the electronics-computer networking program will lead students into the next millennium.

Are you a student under the Electronics Technology program in high school? If you transfer to the Guam Community College having been enrolled into the program your sophomore year, completing the 180 hour work experience, and earning a grade of "B" or better in all your CTE courses, you have the opportunity to JUMPSTART your college career with college credits! In addition, these credits will go towards an Associate's degree in Computer Science or Computer Networking! 👾💻

The postsecondary program at GCC aims to provide students with the foundational knowledge, skills and competencies to enter the workforce and then to advance as technology changes. 👷

Whether you're in the AutoCAD, Carpentry, or HVAC program in high school, you have the opportunity to transfer to the Guam Community College with 6 to 19 credits (depending on the program) and these credits will carry over to a GCC Postsecondary Program if declared as your major upon enrollment after high school! 💪

The Automotive Service Technology, Secondary Program prepares students for transition into the postsecondary environment.

Graduates of the program that receive a “B” or better in all courses and attain 180 hours of automotive related work experience will be awarded a Certificate of Mastery in Automotive Service Technology. Graduates that receive a “C” or better in all courses will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Are you graduating this semester under the Automotive Program? Under DCAPS, you have the opportunity to transfer to the Guam Community College and receive an A.S. or Certificate in Automotive Service Technology and/or a Certificate in Medium/Heavy Truck Diesel Technology with credits under your belt! 🚗
