I am sharing an inner process of my dissertation journey on Substack!

My dissertation is on the cultivation of a reciprocal relationship with the Land through Art—through the lens of my menstrual cycle.

I dive deeply into the dreamworld, co-creations with Nature, inspirations and revelations, communions and poetry that can be witnessed clearly through the practice of art. This artistic research is close to my heart and soul journey. I see it assisting in expanding the boundaries of traditional research— honoring intuition, expanded states of consciousness, indigenous wisdom, and the voices of the more-than-human.

When we come together in community- with one another, sisters, waters, fire, earth, ancestors, sacred plants, we sing the same song, one intention. Our light becomes brighter to light the way within our own heart.

Wherever you are, honor all of your relations, take the time to give gratitude for this life and all that there is to this existence. Such a precious one. Gather with dear ones, offer your love to the earth, she hears you as she is within you.

Such a potent time we are living on this planet. The seeds of intention we plant together, will sprout and blossom for the next generation.

Let the wisdom come through to you as the veil thins this time of year. Listen in community so we may hear clearer.

Our moon cycles give us clarity on how well our bodies are recycling, renewing ourselves.. Every month we receive this ‘report card’ We can learn how to read it, be intimate with it.

What does it say for you?
Is there inconsistency in your cycle? Or does it come in a rhythm, in harmony with lunar and solar cycles?

Are there clots or bloating, headaches or extreme fatigue?

Our menstruation is not meant to be something to hide to to get by… it is the pivotal moment that we can recollect ourselves, renew and regenerate. It is meant to be free of pain or any burdens whatsoever- despite of what the media and the modern woman has come to agree with…

The Golden Cosmic Womb

Space is wherein all creatures come into being. It is the field in which all things grow. A mother is receptive in that she cultivates the sacred space to allow birth of all things. She is the cosmic womb that gives birth to all worlds.

We step into the journey of creation of a mother in our next prenatal yoga teacher training, more than a guide to lead asana, but to unweave the inner workings of this sacred space.

Mystical Mama is a branch of Mystical Womyn, celebrating the womb as a source of birthing ourselves, continually and freely.

We have been offering spiritually guided prenatal yoga teacher trainings for 9 years. Come join us in our seminal training at Lake Atitlan, Guatemala this January!

Our training are offered through and are all certified. Though you do not need to be in that route to take one of our trainings. It can be to deepen your knowledge and understanding of pregnancy, to support a loved one, your community or yourself on the path of conscious parenting, from the very beginning.
