Took some staff pics today in different groupings... so thankful for the team that God has place here at DeepStream to lead the charge and, through the Gospel, bring change.

Thought this was so cool... many don't know, but we have an active garden here at DeepStream, which grows of ton of produce for our feeding program each day. Students and staff all receive an amazing fresh meal, each day they are on site!

As I was near the kitchen today, fresh delivery of broccoli and other items from the farm... Maynor does an amazing job... from time to time we are blessed to have the help of visiting teams, in order to keep the planting and harvesting flowing throughout the year...

One more quick post for DeepStream Ministries and some fun happenings lately... we had a fun Youth night this past weekend, just trying to give a space for the kids to have some fun... Games with friends, being teens, watched a movie, some food... Thank you to our guy Josue Mendez for planning and making it happen for the teens.

Friday we celebrated Mother's day with all the mothers of our students... Such a beautiful event, 100% planned and carried out by our amazing staff team. It was such a joy to see some of the hardest working women in the world, instead of carrying wood from the mountain or standing over their pilas (wash sink) working, just laughing and enjoying their time and taking a moment to breathe.
Thanks to all our supporters who make moments like these possible!!!

Great day with our Ekklesia group. Celebrated our mothers and celebrated all that God is doing in our lives as a small community of Jesus followers... Thankful for lives restored, families strengthened, and the women of our community honored for who they are as moms!!!

Sometimes it's hard to put in words how great a week with a partner really is... Emmanuel Baptist Church came down last week and our time together was AMAZING! God is doing great things through their church and partnership here in Buena Vista. 13 peeps flew in late Wednesday, and we hit the ground running hard til they left on a RED EYE late Monday night. Here's just a small list of what they accomplised...
** Impactful visits with families in our village (food baskets given as well) Watch the video of the little preschooler quoting 2 Cor. 5:17.. BLOWN AWAY!!!
** Devotion/worship time with our middle/highschool program.. .thank you David A Sutkaitis for sharing the word
** Activity with our public middle school program... lots of loving on those kids and just a super fun afternoon...
** Activity with our 4th-6th graders one morning.. .same thing... just a massive blast for all...
** Concrete project, painting project, farming project...
** Lunches and dinners with staff and some staff family.
** Day at Lake Atitlan... village hopping and incredible views.
** English classes with 5 different groups...
** Finally, to top it all off, they threw a pizza/ice cream party, full of gifts and fun for their 19 sponsored kids... (YES, EBC has 19 of our kids sponsored through their church and members of their church...

THanks everyone for all the Bday wishes (Mark) over the past few days... Sunday was a great day and I celebrated the day while sharing at a missions conference... Charity Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC If you are interested, here's the message I was honored to share from Rev. 7:9, regarding the mission of God being for ALL NATIONS... Start at 39 minutes... quick song and then the message... my buddy Sean Heady is the worship and missions pastor and man does he bring it hard with this song!!!
