With open hearts, we welcomed students from San Francisco Waldorf High School to Trinus. Together with our Trinus High School students, they shared two meaningful encounters rooted in connection, discovery, and living experience.

The first visit took place on our campus, where we began with a warm welcome and an activity, followed by a student-led school tour and a shared culinary experience. We closed the day with lunch and joyful, genuine connections.

The second encounter was at Finca La Azotea, where students enjoyed an open space to explore, connect, and share freely, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Antigua Guatemala.

We are so grateful for these moments that nurture head, heart, and hands.

Our Class 9 students recently spent a transformative day at the Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala, and it’s safe to say they left with much more than they gave.

At Trinus, we believe that education isn't just about what happens inside the classroom—it’s about how we show up for our community.

Our students spent the morning engaging with the incredible individuals at the Institute, sharing activities, laughter, and learning firsthand about the beauty of neurodiversity.

Highlights of the Day
* Meaningful Mentorship: Watching our students adapt, listen, and connect with peers who learn differently.
* Breaking Barriers: Challenging stereotypes and embracing the unique strengths that every individual brings to the table.
* Shared Joy: From collaborative art projects to simple conversations, the energy was pure inclusion.

We are so proud of our students for leading with empathy and representing the Trinus spirit of kindness and global citizenship. A huge thank you to the Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala for welcoming us into your space and teaching us the true meaning of community.

Through art, students become better. Without art they would be good students. With art, they are inspired students. We are proud to be Trinus!

Climbing Pacaya Volcano in Sixth Grade is much more than a field trip. 🌋

In Waldorf education, learning comes alive through direct experience. Walking on volcanic ground, observing the power of nature, and feeling the effort of their own bodies makes geology real and memorable.

At this age, students are strengthening their will, perseverance, and self-confidence. Step by step, they discover they can go further than they imagined, while learning to support one another as a group.

In this way, knowledge is not only studied… it is lived.

We are proud to be Trinus!

As part of our Natural Science block, our Fifth Grade students visited the Botanical Garden, where learning came alive beyond the classroom.

They refreshed and deepened their knowledge of Zoology and Botany while exploring Guatemala’s rich biodiversity—discovering endemic plants from different regions, including cacti from dry lands, as well as medicinal and ornamental plants.

Through direct observation, students learned about each plant’s environment, needs, and the important role they play in supporting human life. A beautiful reminder that nature is one of our greatest teachers.
