Following the mission of Seminario Semilla, we aspire to build a more just and peaceful world. We believe this is possible through a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. We want to build bridges of encounter and transformation between different cultures and contexts. ❤️ We miss you Seth and Stephany 🫂

Karla María Vásquez, who has served with Seminario Semilla (SEMILLA Latin American Anabaptist Seminary) since 2013, shares the heart of their work and partnership in this video. She explains that North American (and other international) workers are not arriving to repair a broken country or community. They come to serve and to learn — adapting to local needs, building reciprocal relationships, and allowing the community to shape how they contribute. https://ow.ly/asWj50ZOSkm

How do you keep a seminary thriving and accessible for future church leaders? For Seminario Semilla-Teología , part of the answer lies in CASAS.
CASAS isn't just an intercultural study and hospitality program—it is a cornerstone of SEMILLA Seminary’s financial and operational sustainability. Every time a student or group steps onto our campus to learn Spanish, study Anabaptist theology in context, or engage in community service, they become active partners in our educational mission.
The income generated through CASAS directly subsidizes tuition and resources for local seminary students, ensuring that financial barriers don't stand in the way of theological training. CASAS bridges global fellowship with local sustainability, proving that hospitality can be one of the most powerful tools for Kingdom impact.
