Our academy is looking for a part-time English Instructor to teach after-school English classes to elementary and MS students in the afternoons on Monday through Thursday (two or four afternoons) from January 2023 on. Class size is small with no more than 8 students per class.

Candidates need to
1) Be native English speaker with BA degree (or in process);
2) Have experience teaching English at an academic level which includes vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar (not just conversational English);
3) Have a good knowledge of English grammar.

Honors Academy is offering summer courses to help students of Grade 1~12 to improve/excel in English and Math, including PSAT, SAT, and certain AP courses during the summer.

Dates: June 13th ~ July 28th, 2022
Days: Monday ~ Thursday
Time: 9:30 ~ 12:30 for Elementary/MS; 14:00 ~ 17:00 for HS

It was a wonderful 7-week summer program! So glad to teach, learn, and interact with so many students from grade 2-12.
Congratulations to the students who improved by 100~200 points on the SAT practice tests and all those who improved in English and Math during this summer! All students also got to read at least two great books during these weeks!

As the new year began, Honors Academy is starting a new semester that offers the opportunities for students to excel academically!

During the recent couple of years, our academy has been able to help our students improve their school grades, MAP testing results, SAT scores, AP Calculus scores, and so on. So far, we've had quite a few students who were able to score 1500+ on the SAT. Several students were able to score a perfect 800 on SAT Math section and SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2. Some got 4 or 5 on AP Calculus as well.

We offer both small-sized in-person group classes and one-on-one in-person or online tutoring.

We sincerely hope that all of you are doing well. To all the students, parents, and teachers that participated in our summer program, we cannot express enough gratitude. Without your trust and support, we would not have been able to achieve what we have achieved. We hope it was a productive summer for all of you.

Though we really miss and wish to return to the time when we got to interact with the students in person everyday, unfortunately under the current circumstance, we sadly have to inform you that we will not offer any off-line group classes for this Fall semester. Until this pandemic is over, we will only offer online classes to small groups or individuals.

Considering the technologies, discipline, and attention span required for different age groups, we will offer online math classes to students of Grade 4 and up and online English classes to students of Grade 6 and up.
