The procession of the Milagroso Jesús de La Merced, carrying the cross, accompanied by the Virgin Mary, departs from La Merced Church and walks through the historic streets of the city.
This tradition, full of devotion, history, and beauty, is one of the most iconic expressions of Holy Week in Antigua — and a meaningful experience for our students to witness while learning Spanish here. 🇬🇹
