NEStOR project is an Erasmus+ project with partners from Greece,Denmark, Lithuania, Cyprus. The main result is the Web Radio "European School Radio" Portal, a flexible multilingual modern and attractive educational medium for schools across Europe http://europeanschoolradio.eu .
The target groups are Students of primary and secondary education both public and private schools and Educators involving teachers of primary and of secondary schools of all specialties.

It provides a safe and user-friendly environment with provisions for the visually impaired students. it is enriched with interdisciplinary teaching materials for school education at the european level. If successfully included it will be to integrated in the modern educational requirements.

The web radio provides learning community since it inspires various kind of learning and the recreational activities around at work radio, promos collaboration between students among them and also with educators, school closure in the local and wider communities, develops critical thinking presentation and speaking skills and also enhances democratic ideals, journalism, provides personal development and vocational prospects in media, radio professions, journalism, sound engineering and other.

The project has an impact on media literacy, critical media literacy but also has a clear influence on policy reform of the Greek Ministry of Education and we hope in the future will do so for other EU countries.

The outputs, including an operational online School Web Radio, has a significant contribution in primary and secondary education and the impact is very significant and immediate, especially if one has a look at the statistics of schools and school groups participation.

Also, most of the intellectual outputs can be used and immediately implemented, directly or by adaptation to local conditions, by radio groups and audio production at school level.
The above are possible because the outputs provide:
* Innovative studies/reports and technical analyses of a School Web Radio and its process, procedures, operations is available to all
* Practical pedagogical material such as, guides, manuals and also educational scenarios which are immediately used and applied by all school radio groups and produce radio shows
* An operational School Web Radio which has all necessary features and characteristics to make it work for thousands of schools with quality streaming and based on secure and high quality TCI equipment.
* A model on how not only to utilise the current one produced, but also to operate a similar web radio in other countries, even if they want to duplicate this successful model, the European School Radio. This is extremely important since there is no other known or published model around to follow, except from that of European School Radio. The model covers all aspects from technical (technologies related), the organisation, the management, the features and modules, the social component/aspect, the legal and ethical issues (copyright, ethical), the pedagogical methods and tools.
* A good Helpdesk comprised by the members of ESR mainly, that work voluntarily 24/7 and are very experienced and dedicated to the web radio .
