Στο πλαίσιο του μαθήματος «Συμπεριφορά και Ιδιότητες Δομικών Υλικών», οι φοιτητές μας επισκέφθηκαν το Αγίασμα του Αγίου Ιωάννη, όπου είχαν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν από κοντά την ιστορία και τη σημασία του χώρου.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της επίσκεψης πραγματοποιήθηκε ενημέρωση σχετικά με τις εργασίες αποκατάστασης και συντήρησης, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στα δομικά υλικά, στις τεχνικές παρεμβάσεις και στις προκλήσεις που παρουσιάζει η διατήρηση μνημείων πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς.

Το Εργαστήριο Δομικών Υλικών ΑΠΘ - Laboratory of Building Materials AUTH συμμετείχε στην ανάλυση των υλικών που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για την αποκατάσταση του μνημείου.
