New Project Alert! 📣
We’re thrilled to announce that BEAM 4th Gen and their experiment IASIS-X have been shortlisted for the REXUS/BEXUS Program!🎉
The team’s proposal stood out among the entries and they’re now preparing for the Selection Workshop in late November!
Their experiment, IASIS-X, investigates how self-healing polymers behave in microgravity, aiming to understand how the absence of gravity affects fluid flow, diffusion, and bond reformation — the core processes that allow materials to “heal” themselves.
By studying these mechanisms in space conditions, the project takes a major step toward developing spacecraft materials that can autonomously repair damage, improving the safety and longevity of future space missions. ✨
Good luck to the team as they move forward to the next exciting stage of the REXUS/BEXUS journey! 🚀
