For starry night lovers ✨💫💛

10/12/2022

You go talk to kindergartners or first-grade kids, you find a class full of science enthusiasts💫🔍. They ask deep questions. They ask, "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧?"
🌟These are profound, important questions. They just bubble right out of them.
You go talk to 12th graders and there's none of that. They've become incurious. Something terrible has happened between kindergarten and 12th grade. ~Carl Sagan~

Alexandros Delmouzos, a radical Pedagogue 11/02/2020

“Show to your students that their nation is a team that belongs to the totality, the humanity and it’s a part of it. Water their soul with love for freedom in order to make it an interior need. And this is enough because love is incomparably stronger than hate.”

His standard educational vision, his criticism of teacher-centeredness, but also his pedagogical principles that put the student at the center of the educational activity made Alexandros Delmouzos one of the most important figures in the field. He devoted his life for a new educational system that would give opportunities to as many students as possible.

Of all the things that make up the natural environment, the 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 is probably the closest to the human nature. Unlike rocks, sea, sky, it could not be considered immortal. Although its life cycle is broader, it follows the course of the mortal cycle: it grows, it bears fruit, it gives birth to new fruits, it grows old, it dies.

Little storytellers 7-9 years old created a story about the tree of the photo: "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒘!" This tree admired the colors of the rainbow. One day a miracle happened from the sun and the rain and it transformed into a rainbow. However, its core did not change, it remained a tree.
Some others said that a drop of sunlight fell on the tree and then it transformed. Maybe a genie helped with magic as the tree was asleep.

But was the tree trying its best and in what way? The little fantasy storytellers said it was trying because it didn't stop dreaming. It never stopped imagining it would be dressed in the rainbows' colours. It believed it and it happened.

There is a saying that the rainbow wanted to become a tree as well! How weird is this story that everyone wants to want to be somebody else ..
