On 28-29th of November Hub-21 participated in the 3rd transnational meeting of Soften Project in beautiful Kaunas!

📌Highlight 1st day: the consortium brainstormed creatively through a Design Thinking actrivity on the outline of a MOOC for educators that will be developed in next months, with special focus on participatory methods and techniques that can promote the integration of the most critical soft skills for the green transition within STEM academic programmes.

📌Highlight 2nd day: An overview of the most important findings of the recently released 'SOFTEN framework for the integration of soft skills in STEM curricula' was presented to all partners.

📣We are excited to share some insights of the GreenGenerations Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) that took place in 📍Paris on 16 and 17 November.
Partners co-facilitated an international training experience on climate change through intergenerational learning (IGL) bringing together 26 teachers from 5 EU countries (France, Greece, Cyrpus, Bulgaria and Romania).
💬Through experiential and project-based activites, teachers cocnluded that:
- intergenerational learning can bridge the gap between school, family and the wider community.
- participants of an IGL project should share common goals and values.
- experiential activities can immerse more effectively participants in the concept and principles of IGL.
- the GG Training Package is a valid reference point for training themselves and their colleagues back in their countries.

📣Είμαστε ενθουσιασμένοι που μοιραζόμαστε μερικές ιδέες από τη Δραστηριότητα Μάθησης, Διδασκαλίας και Κατάρτισης GreenGenerations (LTTA) που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο 📍Παρίσι στις 16 και 17 Νοεμβρίου.
Οι εταίροι συνδιοργάνωσαν μια διεθνή εμπειρία κατάρτισης σχετικά με την κλιματική αλλαγή μέσω της διαγενειακής μάθησης που συγκέντρωσε 26 εκπαιδευτικούς από 5 χώρες της ΕΕ (Γαλλία, Ελλάδα, Κύρπος, Βουλγαρία και Ρουμανία).
💬Μέσα από βιωματικές και βασισμένες σε έργα δραστηριότητες, οι εκπαιδευτικοί κατέληξαν στο συμπέρασμα ότι:
- η μάθηση μεταξύ των γενεών μπορεί να γεφυρώσει το χάσμα μεταξύ του σχολείου, της οικογένειας και της ευρύτερης κοινότητας.
- οι συμμετέχοντες σε ένα έργο διαγενεακής μάθησης θα πρέπει να μοιράζονται κοινούς στόχους και αξίες.
- οι βιωματικές δραστηριότητες μπορούν να εμπλέξουν πιο αποτελεσματικά τους συμμετέχοντες στην έννοια και τις αρχές της διαγενεακής μάθησης.
- το Πακέτο Εκπαίδευσης GG είναι ένα έγκυρο σημείο αναφοράς για την εκπαίδευση των ιδίων και των συναδέλφων τους πίσω στις χώρες τους.

Today we had another fruitful online monthly meeting for project! 🔝🎉

The consortium partners had the opportunity, before their summer break, to catch up and dive into the next WP2 exciting steps and tasks 🤝📋

, as WP2 leader, updated all partners on our incredible progress in designing the revolutionary Framework, with findings of research activities from the participating countries. This framework will pave the way for embedding the essential in STEM curricula, needed for a seamless transition to the green economy! 🌿🌱

Fresh news this Friday!📣🆕

We are happy to share that we participate as partner in the Erasmus+ project SEgoesGreen, involving 7 partners from 5 EU countries (Greece, Portugal, Poland, Cyprus, Croatia).

SEgoesGreen aims at integrating Nature-Based Solutions into higher education in order to highlight the high potential of the Social Economy for a greener and more inclusive future.

For an efficient monitoring of the project's progress, each month the consortium organises a monthly meeting to discuss the main milestones and common planning of all upcoming activities. Today was such a day where we presented an overview and trends of our recent research-based work focused on the mapping of 24 eco-citizenship practices in SE-related studies in the participating countries, with partners' contribution 🙏🧑‍🤝‍🧑

So excited to explore new topics- cheers to this new promising collaboration!

In the framework of Erasmus+ project SOFTEN (https://softenproject.eu/), the consortium developed a survey aiming at: 1) capturing students' level of knowledge about soft skills in relation to the green transition, 2) identifying current challenges for the development of soft skills in their STEM studies, 3) investigating their perception about the role of soft skills for their professional future in green economy sectors.

📣Exciting news!
The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the Green Generations project, which aims to foster Climate Change Education (CCE) through intergenerational learning, took place online on the 3rd of May 2023.
👉Partners elaborated on the main findings of the national research activities on CCE through intergenerational learning, which will be available soon on the project’s website! Moreover, partners started co-creating the structure of the Green Generations Teachers’ Training Package, and setting the next steps for the implementation of the Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity to be held in Paris in November 2023!

📣Συναρπαστικά νέα!
Η 2η Διακρατική Συνάντηση Έργου του έργου Green Generations, που στοχεύει στην προώθηση της Εκπαίδευσης για την Κλιματική Αλλαγή (EKA) μέσω της διαγενεακής μάθησης, πραγματοποιήθηκε διαδικτυακά στις 3 Μαΐου 2023.
👉Οι εταίροι ανέπτυξαν τα κύρια ευρήματα των εθνικών ερευνητικών δραστηριοτήτων για το EKA μέσω της διαγενεακής μάθησης, τα οποία θα είναι διαθέσιμα σύντομα στον ιστότοπο του έργου! Επιπλέον, οι εταίροι άρχισαν να συν-δημιουργούν τη δομή του Πακέτου Κατάρτισης Εκπαιδευτικών Green Generations και να οργανώνουν την υλοποίηση της Δραστηριότητας Μάθησης, Διδασκαλίας και Κατάρτισης που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Παρίσι τον Νοέμβριο του 2023!

Happy day with fresh news! 🔝🎉

HUB 21 participates in SOFTEN project, a new Erasmus+ KA2 project in the area of Higher Education.

SOFTEN consists of 7 partners from 6 European countries (Greece, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Finland and Lithuania). It aims at modernising STEM curricula for the embeddedness of soft skills in technical universities, especially those with a green and sustainable orientation. We will achieve this by supporting educators and students to cultivate such transferable skills towards a more inclusive green mindset and economy!

Το HUB 21 συμμετέχει στο έργο SOFTEN, ένα νέο έργο Erasmus+ KA2 στον τομέα της τριτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης.

Το έργο SOFTEN αποτελείται από 7 εταίρους από 6 ευρωπαϊκές χώρες (Ελλάδα, Ιταλία, Πορτογαλία, Πολωνία, Φινλανδία και Λιθουανία). Στοχεύει στον εκσυγχρονισμό των προγραμμάτων σπουδών STEM για την ενσωμάτωση των 'ήπιων' δεξιοτήτων στα τεχνικά πανεπιστήμια, ιδίως σε αυτά με έναν 'πράσινο' προσανατολισμό. Θα το πετύχουμε υποστηρίζοντας εκπαιδευτικούς και φοιτητές να καλλιεργήσουν τέτοιες δεξιότητες προς μια πιο συμπεριληπτική πράσινη νοοτροπία και οικονομία!
