Nicolici, project partner from Romania for "Checking Facts like a PRO!" workshop, and Chryssa Lazou, project coordinator, and Prof Avgoustos A Tsinakos, Director of the AETMA Lab, IHU for sharing the project materials created through the Augmented Reality educational app ARTutor during the workshop "Training youth for responsible citizenship in the digital age through technology-enhanced learning".

We are delighted to share the upcoming 2-day event for the dissemination of our two GOLD Award winning program Communi-TIES Media Literacy in Practice for Innovation in Teaching (Education Leaders Awards 2022) and Innovation in Language Learning (ELT Excellence Awards 2022) in Thessaloniki on September 23-24, 2022 with outstanding keynotes from academia, the journalism sector, education stakeholders and media literacy exchange program educators!
The event will take place in the Digital Transformation and Digital Skills Center, Thessaloniki, under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior (Sector Macedonia & Thrace) and with the support of the U.S. Embassies in Greece, Bulgaria and Romania.

We are happy to share a memorable visit of our CommuniTIERS to the Bulgarian News Agency. The students had an engaging meeting with the Director and Secretary General, discussing the history, mission and vision of BTA. We had the pleasure to also meet BTA outstanding journalists, editors and graphic designers who shared valuable insights, newsroom experiences and some challenges of the content development. The students were invited to analyze the BTA Instagram content by applying their critical thinking skills.Special thanks to Mr.Kiril Valchev and Ms.Julia Sokolova for the wonderful visit and cooperation.

The Romanian students from Liceul Tehnologic "Lorin Salagean", who are involved in the project CommuniTIES, visited the local TV station Tele 2, located in Drobeta Turnu Severin. They spoke to the journalists, found out how news is made and presented, and had a hands-on session to experiments what being a journalist and a presenter is like.
