Prometheus AUTh Project

The Prometheus AUTH project team attended the Co-Innovation Tour – Athens 2026, organized by AVGIDIS AUTOMATION S.A. and Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Athens.

The event offered an excellent opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in industrial automation, digital transformation, smart instrumentation, cybersecurity, and energy management technologies. Through presentations, live demonstrations, and discussions with industry professionals, the team gained valuable insights into the future of modern industrial systems and autonomous operations.

It was also a great networking experience, connecting with experts and professionals from the automation and energy sectors while exchanging ideas around innovation and emerging technologies.

Our team Prometheus AUTH is entering the final stretch before submitting our proposal to the REXUS/BEXUS (Rocket/Balloon Experiments for University Students) programme — where science meets the edge of space.

We’re developing a hydrogen fuel cell system designed to push clean energy innovation beyond Earth’s boundaries. Every day brings us closer to turning vision into reality. 🌌

From brainstorming sessions to testing and design, this journey has been powered by passion, teamwork, and the belief that sustainable technology can reach the stars.

We’re excited to share that we recently presented our work on the Balance of Plant (BoP) system for our hydrogen fuel cell project. This system is essential for ensuring safe and efficient operation, and it’s a big step forward in our journey. ⚡🔋

What makes this even more exciting is that developing this subsystem enhances our chances of participating in the REXUS/BEXUS (Rocket/Balloon Experiments for University Students) programme 🚀 — giving us the opportunity to bring our ideas to life in a real space-relevant environment.

We’re proud of the dedication, creativity, and teamwork that brought us here, and we’re motivated to keep pushing forward!
