VASS (Visual Arts Summer Studio) Skopelos will run from late June to late July 2015. The program is a shared vision among Jill Somer, director of the Skopelos Foundation for the Arts, artist educator Zoë Blatt, and child psychologist Katerina Lithadioti. Together, Blatt and Lithadioti will work with elementary school children at the art foundation, focusing on self expression and the therapeutic n

ature of art making. Blatt developed a model for the program while studying at the Harvard Graduate School for Education, and she hopes to create VASS in multiple cities over time.
