Ευχαριστούμε πολύ τον δάσκαλο κ φίλο , μαύρη ζώνη από που ήταν μαζί μας τις τελευταίες 10 μέρες κ μας δίδαξε κάποιες από τις τεχνικές του. Ο Αλέξης είναι βασικό μέλος του και ανυπομονούμε να τον εχουμε ξανά κοντά μας του χρόνου.

Ikaria surfschool has its 10th year anniversary this summer and we are planning to celebrate it!

So we are organizing a mini surf festival that will bring us closer to Ikaria’s nature, culture and surfing!

Our surf festival will take place at Ikaria Surf School and at one of the two last weekends of July (22-23 or 29-30 July) depending on which one from the two selected dates, we are going to have better wave conditions for our activities!

Our 10 years anniversary festival will include :

-Free demo sessions for beginners for the sports:
Surfing, SUP, Yoga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

-Free demo surfboard test by for experienced surfers

-Photo exhibition by some of our beloved friends inspired by surf and the nature of ikaria

-Fun Surf contest

-Parties at

-Beach cleaning

-Gifts and giveaways!

The final dates of the festival will be decided and announced on the 17th of July when we are going to have a safe wave prediction for the selected dates but we strongly advise you to be in our island during this 8 days waiting period as it is one of the best seasons for ikaria!

As our 2023 BJJ & SURF Camp is soon approaching, it is time to introduce our instructors:

Dario Kashani (black belt, Ruckus BJJ Clan) and Aleksis Sakellaris (black belt, Hilti Bjj) have both been core members of Ikaria Bjj Academy, and this year we will have the privilege to have them sharing their techniques with us for our 10-year anniversary camp.

As always, the camp is co-organised by Iosif Drakos (black belt, Alliance Jiu Jitsu) and Anna Kavoura (black belt Hilti Bjj), who are the co-founders of Ikaria Bjj Academy.

Hanna Hirvonen (black belt, Hilti Bjj) and Venla Luukkonen (black belt, Hilti Bjj) have also been a huge part of this camp and it has been an honour to have them visiting us for many consecutive years. While their participation for this year's camp has not been confirmed, we are hoping that we will have them with us sometime soon 😊🏄🥋
