📢 Disseminating AI4Teach at the academic community!
We are excited to share our participation at the Pan-Hellenic Conference on Progress in Computing and Informatics (PCI 2026- April 24–26, 2026 at University of West Attica, Athens), where Mr Georgios Lampropoulos, PhD condidate, presented our work titled:
“AI as a Pedagogical Design Partner: New Trends in Learning Design Tools beyond Automated Lesson Planning.”
The presentation highlighted how Artificial Intelligence can move beyond simple automation and act as a co-designer, supporting teachers in creating more inclusive, engaging, and pedagogically meaningful learning experiences.
This contribution is part of the dissemination activities of the AI4Teach Erasmus+ project, which aims to empower educators with AI-enhanced learning design approaches.
We are proud to contribute to the ongoing dialogue between research and practice, bringing innovative AI-driven learning design ideas closer to the academic and educational community.

Our Transnational Partners’ Meeting took place in Malta on 3 and 4 March. 🇲🇹
Partners reviewed the project’s progress, including the completed literature review, the national and European stakeholder consultations, and the launch of our communication campaign.
We also discussed the AI Literacy framework, had a first look at the platform that will host the Academy, and started planning the upcoming co‑creation sessions.
A highlight of the meeting was hearing from other projects and initiatives working on AI in education. 🤖✨

Professor Dra. Rocío Fernández (UCV Team) participated 3-4 July in International Congress with a presentation: “Generative Artificial Intelligence in Teacher Training: Practices to Learn, Create, and Reflect.
The Congress was held virtually and featured 277 presentations (17 nationalities), around various on current educational topics, including Artificial Intelligence in Education.
It is worth noting that the presentation by Professor Fernández iwas one of the most discussed of the Congress.
In her contribution, Professor Fernández-Piqueras presented her project carried out with two colleagues during the 2024–25 academic year, focused on integrating Generative AI into their courses.
The project involved 259 students (across 10 undergraduate and master’s level courses). It was a mixed-methods study based on quantitative data collection (pretest-postest measures, without a control group) and qualitative data from discussion groups. After the interventions, results were compared to determine whether there was a significant change in student learning.
