We started with a dream to educate people
ADR Hellenic, is a non-profit organization that was established in Thessaloniki – Greece in 2012, on an initiative of a group of experts in the field of justice and mediation with the aim of providing a high level of mediation services and training services in mediation and conflict resolution, both in Europe and internationally. WHAT WE DO
Our
main areas of intervention have been:
· lobbing and advocacy for establishment of the legal framework for mediation in Greece, establishment of mediation networks in the main cities of Greece.
· worldwide awareness-raising in the areas of mediation, negotiation, facilitation, reconciliation, restorative justice, peer mediation, etc., tailored to the needs of state institutions, civil society actors, local government and schools,
· capacity building through administration of training programs in ADR/Mediation at basic and advanced level. WHY WE DO IT
A simple understanding of fundamental mediation principles points to the unlimited potential of mediation in all kinds of disputes. We believe that the institution of mediation has already started paving the way to a new standard in the conflict resolution paradigm of our society. The future generations are those who can take the next step to this world-changing shift. That’s why our mission is contributing to the promotion of alternative dispute resolution and especially mediation in the areas of civil, commercial, medical / bioethics and family law, while also training as many young people as possible in the ways of mediation. HOW WE DO IT
We have created pioneering training programs in the fields of mediation, workplace conflict, family mediation, negotiations, advanced mediation, peer mediation, mediation in healthcare, empathy and soft skills in clinical settings, and more.
· We are the only organization that offers online synchronous training for mediation trainers (“Train the Trainers”) in closed groups of 4-8 people.
· Since 2019, we have created innovative asynchronous e-learning programs on the e-adrhellenic.com platform, in Greek and English.
· We are the only institution internationally that specializes in Medical and Bioethical Mediation and has created innovative training programs on soft skills, medical error and conflict resolution for doctors and health care providers.
· We support the Young Mediators Initiative (YMI), which was established under the umbrella of IMI, with the aim of encouraging, connecting and assisting young mediators worldwide. WHY US?

Having satisfied the assessors and regulators and complied with the conditions of validation
established by the ECICEL (European Centre of Independent Certification in E-Learning),
ADR Hellenic Center has been fully admitted to Accredited Membership of the Association. IMI Certified Mediator Training Program
The IMI Certified Mediator Training Program
certification is a quality assurance standard that mediator training programs
are developed to a minimally accepted international standard,
which was developed by the IMI Training and Competency Assessment standards taskforce. IMI Qualifying Assessment Program (QAP)
IMI Certification is available to any experienced mediator
who gains a certificate from ADR Hellenic Center’s Qualifying Assessment Program (QAP)
as a result of a performance-based assessment approved by the IMI Appraisal Committee. Sincerely,
