ELSA Thessaloniki Winter Law School on Migration Law & Refugee Issues

During the 4th, the 5th and the 6th day of the Winter Law School on Migration Law and Refugee Issues the participants attended lectures given by Amnesty International, Dr. Christina Akrivopoulou and Mr Miltos Sargigiannidis. At thr same time they had the chance to visit the School of Aristotle, the Heroic town of Naoussa, the Park of St Nikolas and the Ski Center of Kaimaktsalan. Last but not least they attended a performance given by Genitsaroi & Boules Association, which is a tradiotional costum of the town.

Today we visited the house of Janissaries and Boules in Naousa. We attended a presentation of the the traditional custom of dressing the janissary.

The 3rd day of the Winter Law School on Migration Law and Refugee Issues is over! These three days we had four amazing lectures from professors Paroula Naskou-Perraki and Konstantinos Tsitselikis, as well as from Christina Trevlia (UNHCR) and Fani Galatsopoulou (International Migration Office of Greece). We were also excited to visit the royal tombs of Vergina.

Dear Friends,
We would like to inform you, that the Organizing Committee will buy food, clothes, sanitary articles and medication, for the Refugees who are in Greece. On the 7th of December, which means the last day of the Winter Law School, there will be a bus, for those who would like to participate in this action, which is going to take us to the Refugee Camps in the Greek borders, in order to offer the essentials by ourselves.
