Today is a very special day, International Translation Day.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the incredibly valuable and supportive interpreters we have had throughout Better Days’ existence. Whether they have volunteered or worked with us, we have always understood their job, as well as being very challenging, to be one of the most vital within the humanitarian field.

Farsi interpreter needed❗️

We are looking to invest in a committed Farsi interpreter and cultural mediator to join our team.

She/He must be fluent in both English and Farsi, with at least one language being the native language of the interpreter. She/He will be expected to provide interpretation for thematic conversations from a broad range of topics, including but not limited to the legal, environment, agriculture, education, health and medical, etc., in a variety of settings at multiple projects and locations, including classroom, outreach, psycho-social support sessions, and more.

Additionally, due to the nature of our work and projects, she/he will be expected to assist in the preparation, interpretation, and translation of administrative and promotional documentation in one of his/her languages of fluency, as well as provide English and Farsi support in language teaching when requested.
