Its mission is to create a forum of academics, researchers and professionals can meet and exchange experiences and ideas about the development of their discipline. Academics can contribute significantly to the quality of “education”. Educate, communicate, exchange, meet new cultures, create, collaborate (…) we can all have a part in this! The quality of education can promote, among other, intercultural communication and the academic community is the leader of education’s content and quality. Academics, researchers, PhD students or people interested to create links with the academic community around the world, can become members of the Institute. The annual organisation of International conferences, is an opportunity for Academics and Researchers from all over the world to meet, exchange ideas on their research, discuss the future developments in their disciplines and contribute to education’s future.

Open Access Publishing Association collaborates with the Communication Institute of Greece to respond to the timing and important question of the Education Future.
There is a clear need for practical implications for school governance in increasingly dynamic and complex educational environments (Mujari et al., 2026) while HEIs can serve as proactive agents of positive change in an increasingly interconnected world (Mehboob U. The President of the Communication Institute of Greece, Dr. Margarita Kefalaki, will guide the discussion.
Pr. Fotini Diamantidaki, Vice President of Research and Academic Affairs, Communication Institute of Greece & Associate Professor, UCL Institute of Education, University of London, UK will refer to “Developing intercultural thinking in education”
Pr. Michael Anibal Altamirano, Vice President of Strategic Management, Communication Institute of Greece & Professor, Monroe University, USA, will talk about “Diminishing Equity: The Current Career Challenge for Underrepresented American Students”
Pr. Jan Bamford, Hon. Vice President of International Higher Education, Communication Institute of Greece & Professor, London Metropolitan University, London, will talk about “Benefits versus risks of transnational higher education for staff and students”
