Open Access Publishing Association collaborates with the Communication Institute of Greece to respond to the timing and important question of the Education Future.
There is a clear need for practical implications for school governance in increasingly dynamic and complex educational environments (Mujari et al., 2026) while HEIs can serve as proactive agents of positive change in an increasingly interconnected world (Mehboob U. H. et al., 2025). How HEIs can remain relevant, resilient and effective including students, academics and administrative voices?
The President of the Communication Institute of Greece, Dr. Margarita Kefalaki, will guide the discussion.
Pr. Fotini Diamantidaki, Vice President of Research and Academic Affairs, Communication Institute of Greece & Associate Professor, UCL Institute of Education, University of London, UK will refer to “Developing intercultural thinking in education”
Pr. Michael Anibal Altamirano, Vice President of Strategic Management, Communication Institute of Greece & Professor, Monroe University, USA, will talk about “Diminishing Equity: The Current Career Challenge for Underrepresented American Students”
Pr. Jan Bamford, Hon. Vice President of International Higher Education, Communication Institute of Greece & Professor, London Metropolitan University, London, will talk about “Benefits versus risks of transnational higher education for staff and students”
Pr. Sophie Karanicolas, Hon. Vice President of Learning Innovations and International Relations, Communication Institute of Greece & Hon Associate Professor, Australia talk is entitled “From confusion to confidence: The role of communication in assessment quality”.
