As part of the Refugee Week line-up of events, I am reaching out to invite you to my upcoming book launch event 'Refugee Voices: The Five Stages of Moria' at Willesden Green Library on 20th June 18:30-19:30. Please see further details below:

World Refugee Day is a day designed to honour and celebrate the resilience of refugees worldwide. Author and Humanitarian Worker, Elika Ansari will be in conversation with Refugee Youth volunteer, Reza Nourmand to discuss her book, 'The Five Stages of Moria: 'The Worst Refugee Camp on Earth'.
The book is a work of autobiographical fiction relating a complex, multi-faceted and very psychological refugee experience that the author came across first-hand while working in the infamous refugee camp that burned down in September 2020.

Just wanted to let you know that my book, ‘The Five Stages of Moria: “The Worst Refugee Camp on Earth”’ is finally being published this September!📕

The book tells the story of what was up to two years ago the largest known refugee camp in Europe - fiction based on true stories from the years I spent working in the camp.📖

Since Arkbound is a non-profit, charity publishing company, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to help with the editing, formatting and promotional costs of the book.📝

Today we had a fun time playing monopoly. The kids learned so quickly, that the grown ups ran out of play money really fast…
Afterwards we made the kids happy With some presents. We are going on winter break for 4 weeks and we wanted the children to have something they really enjoy.
Thanks for a wonderful year and we are looking forward to continuing our little lotus programme next year ❤️🌈

Today we have had a wonderful crafting session. The kids surprise us over and over again with their creativity and free minds. Thank you for this incredible evening ☀️🌈❤️‍🔥

Dear everyone ☀️ we are happy to show you our latest project. We have created a cozy space for children at the Leavenoonebehind warehouse (across the camp). Come and visit us, I am there everyday between 10 and 14 o’clock, waiting to make some art and play games. Have a great day! The kindest of all regards :)).

Yesterday, thanks to The Flying Seagull Project we have had 2 hours of loads of activities and endless fun. We painted faces, saw some magic, had clowns shoo us around the room, played games and so much more. You will be greatly missed! Thank you for the wonderful time ☀️🌈

Tonight we had the wonderful The Flying Seagull Project people join with our kids! Not only the kids were laughing until all breath was gone, also the grown ups were. Thank you so much 🌹🌈

We have had good fun with 15 kids yesterday. Bringing all those kids together, makes our hearts grow. We had some activities and then topped it all off with music, balloons and bubbles. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tonight again ☀️🌈

Today, we played a variety of games. We had a lot of fun and everyone came out a winner. Of course, we topped it all off with a long dancing session in the end. It was a very good day and little lotus couldn’t be happier about having such wonderful kids to spend time with. Have a good evening, everyone ☀️

Yesterday we made some beautiful friendship bracelets. We had so much fun fiddling the tiny pearls onto the string. We spend over an hour making those wonderful bracelets and some necklaces too. All the while we talked about everything. We had the most amazing bonding time.
