Air Plan Aviation is now contributing to EASA TRAIN, a Horizon Europe research project coordinated by NLR (Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre), alongside CAE, FFL, Harms Aviation, and Rotorsky, investigating how simulator-based training can shape the future of pilot licensing across Europe.

Air Plan is playing an active role in research that could directly influence tomorrow's EASA training standards. For our students, it means extra simulator and instruction time included as part of the programme, cognitive and personality assessments conducted by NLR's aviation psychologists, early exposure to a competency-based training environment already used in modern airline training, and a real say in shaping the legislation that will define their future as pilots.
