Zoe Merteventzi (*1977) is a German teacher - undergraduate studies at the Ruhr University Bochum in:
1. German studies
2. General and comparative linguistics
3. Modern Greek and Byzantine philology
4. Language teaching research - didactics and methodology
5. Technical translation of modern Greek into German and main studies at the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki with a degree in German Philology), further training at the University Hospital Ulm in trauma pedagogy, head of a private language school for foreign languages, music teacher (violin) and since 2000 pedagogical employee at various institutions of the Youth welfare, where she is mainly responsible for the school education of children and young people.
Since 2000, Mrs. Merteventzi has had the state-approved teaching license under Greek law and in 2003 she founded the state-approved private language school "STUNDENPLAN", which has the status of a supplementary school for foreign language acquisition.
She has many years of experience in teaching Greek as a foreign language, teaching both foreign-speaking residents of Thassos island and summer visitors interested in Greek language and culture.
With games, fun and joy, she always manages to teach something even to those who don't trust themselves. Previous knowledge or grammatical understanding is not relevant. Flexibility, humor and adaptability to each student are her strengths. Her teaching is particularly based on communication and a dynamic group experience. Her lessons are suitable for all ages, from toddlers to old age, and are customized to suit each lesson goal.
She has also been teaching German to children, young people and adults in her private language school since 2003. Here, the students are prepared for external certificate examinations with regard to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) ​​in levels A1 to C2.
