We are proud to announce the establishment of the CCK SUMTS LAB as part of the SUMTS – Surveying & Mapping Technology for Smart Cities project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

The CCK SUMTS LAB is more than just a laboratory—it is a hub for innovation, learning, and technological excellence, dedicated to developing the digital and geospatial skills needed to build smarter, more sustainable cities. 🌐📍

SUMTS Lab – Balqa Applied University College of Engineering , Al-Huson University College

As part of the SUMTS project activities, we are proud to announce the launch of the SUMTS Surveying and Mapping Lab at Al-Balqa Applied University – Al-Huson University College. The laboratory has been established to support practical education and technical training in the fields of surveying, geomatics, and mapping technologies.
New Equipment Includes:
4× Level
1× Total Station
4× Theodolites
3× RTK Receiver
10× measuring tape
2× Desktop Workstations for Surveying Software

The lab provides a modern learning environment equipped with advanced surveying technologies to enhance students’ practical skills and technical competencies. It also supports hands-on training, professional development, and the integration of innovative surveying and mapping techniques aligned with labor market needs and the objectives of the SUMTS project. The program included a comprehensive presentation on the objectives and activities of the SUMTS project, delivered by Prof. Rebhi Damseh, as well as an overview of the laboratory’s technical equipment presented by Eng.Ayat Khasawneh.
