Between 4 and 15 May 2026, a group of 22 students from Liceul Tehnologic "Constantin Brรขncuศi" Oradea Romania ๐น๐ฉembarked on an unforgettable Erasmus+ mobility experience in Greece. More than a professional training program, this journey became a story of growth, friendship, cultural discovery, and European citizenship. ๐๐ค
For two weeks, the participants stepped beyond the classroom and into a real European learning environment, where every day brought new challenges, new skills, and new opportunities. Alongside students from countries such as Poland ๐ต๐ฑ, Spain ๐ช๐ธ, Greenland ๐ฌ๐ฑ, and other European nations, they experienced firsthand the true spirit of Erasmus+: learning together, sharing cultures, and building bridges across borders.

The ten students from Class X B, specializing as Hairdresser-Stylists, carried out their practical training at the modern beauty salon NAILS 4 YOU in Katerini.
Under the guidance of professional tutor Aspa Vologianni and VET teacher Denisa ศiศca, they worked in a real European salon environment and learned what professional standards truly mean. They organized and equipped workstations according to European requirements, applied hygiene and sterilization procedures, and communicated professionally with clients in English. ๐ฃ๏ธ
Their practical activities included classic and French manicures, application and maintenance of artificial nails, treatments for strengthening natural nails, hand massages, oil baths, and paraffin therapies. The twelve students from Class XI A, specializing as Construction and Installation Drafting Technicians, trained at the Laboratory Center for Vocational School in Katerini.
Guided by Civil Engineer Vasileia Natsiou and accompanied by Director Professor Gabriel Adrian Mic, the students combined traditional surveying methods with cutting-edge technology. During the first week, they carried out field measurements using tape measures, laser distance meters, and laser levels. They also had the exciting opportunity to operate drones for photogrammetry, capturing aerial images and learning how modern technology is transforming the construction industry. ๐๐
The second week focused on transforming field data into professional digital documentation. Students created complete building surveys using AutoCAD, calculated material requirements, and prepared technical portfolios containing sketches, plans, photographs, and reports. ๐ป๐
The experience allowed them to work with real instruments, follow European quality standards, and gain practical skills that will support their future careers in engineering and construction.

While professional training remained at the heart of the mobility, cultural exploration added unforgettable dimensions to the experience.
One of the most memorable moments was the visit to the legendary Mount Olympus โฐ๏ธ, where students admired the stunning Enipeas Waterfall, often called the "Bath of Zeus." Surrounded by spectacular landscapes and ancient myths, participants felt connected to the stories that have inspired generations.
The excursion to Meteora ๐๏ธโช was equally breathtaking. Visiting the famous Varlaam Monastery, perched high on dramatic rock formations, offered participants a glimpse into one of Greece's most extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The students also visited the Monastery of Saint Ephraim the Syrian ๐, experienced the rich history of Thessaloniki ๐, explored a workshop dedicated to Byzantine icon painting ๐จ, and admired the beauty of the Aegean coast during a relaxing boat trip ๐ข๐.

During the "Leadership in the Classroom โ Empowering Leadership in Teenagers" workshop, participants reflected on how young people can become active citizens and positive leaders within their communities.
Students also participated in peer-learning activities, volunteering initiatives, and environmental actions. One particularly meaningful moment was the beach clean-up campaign in Katerini ๐๏ธโป๏ธ, where they worked together with students from another Romanian school to contribute to environmental protection.
Another highlight was the Greek Alphabet Workshop ๐ค๐ฌ๐ท, where participants learned about the origins of Greek writing and culture while discovering fascinating connections between ancient and modern Europe.
Evenings were filled with laughter, music, and cultural exchange. The traditional Greek evening ๐๐บ๐ถ brought together participants from different countries through dance, local cuisine, and authentic Greek hospitality. Friendships were formed, stereotypes disappeared, and cultural diversity became a source of inspiration.
๐ Some of the happiest moments were also the simplest: playing in the waves of the Aegean Sea, sharing stories with new friends, participating in team-building activities, and celebrating Europe Day on 9 May directly from the shores of Paralia under the message:
โค๏ธ "I LOVE PARALIA!" ๐ช๐บ
They returned home with stronger professional skills, improved English communication abilities, greater self-confidence, and a deeper understanding of European values. They learned to adapt to new environments, work in international teams, respect diversity, and embrace challenges with courage and enthusiasm. ๐๐
The mobility provided participants with valuable documents recognizing their achievements, including Europass Mobility certificates, participation certificates, and evaluated professional portfolios that will support their future educational and professional pathways.
