In 2021, I ran the very first GLE beginner class.

Could people really learn Greek through a screen? Would strangers from different time zones feel comfortable practicing out loud?

Then the first students started learning in small groups and everything changed.

I went from, not feeling confident if this will work to seeing my students progress and wins in just 6 weeks.

Our next beginner classes start the week of October 12th.

Comment “GREEK” below and I’ll send you the details to join our small groups.

Instead of memorizing 3,000 random Greek words, learn 300 phrases you can use in daily life.

Instead of memorizing Greek grammar rules, start noticing patterns and endings.

Instead of trying to sound fluent and be perfect, make mistakes.

If you are new here, I am Emily, a Greek language teacher and mom of 2 based in NY. I started teaching Greek online 10 years ago when Skype was still the only way to have video calls.

5 years ago I created an online Greek language school with my friend Danai. We wanted to offer a space for students to find classes, connect with others who have the same goals and struggles and keep the Greek language alive.

Our Greek beginner classes start soon, if you want to be the first to know, comment GREEK and I’ll send you the link!
