An e-Twinning project intitled "Art around the e-globe" was run, as a part of the "Museschool" project. The Buhari Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and the 5th Gymnasium of Ioannina "built" a virtual museum with students creations. Enjoy!

Yesterday,on the International Museum day, we recalled the students' visits of the 5th Gymnasium of Ioannina to the Silversmithing museum for implementing the interdisciplinary lesson plans made by the History,Geography and Art teachers.

An one-day seminar was organized, last month, on the 4th of October, in the 5th Gymnasium of Ioannina, in the framework of the MuseSchool Erasmus project.
Teachers of the 5th Gymnasium, after attending two LΤΤ activities in Novo mesto and Piraeus, transferred the acquired knowledge to 18 teachers of Art, History and Geography from 13 different schools of Primary and Secondary Education.
The aim of the seminar was to train the participants to create an engaging visit in museum settings or in open air environments, ensuring a participatory experience for school audiences.

Η 2η Διακρατική Συνάντηση του σχεδίου Erasmus+ "Integration of Museums into School Education" υλοποιήθηκε στη Μαδρίτη, 26 & 27 Σεπτεμβρίου 2019.Οι εκπρόσωποι των συμμετεχόντων οργανισμών παρουσίασαν και αξιολόγησαν τις δραστηριότητες που πραγματοποιήθηκαν τον πρώτο χρόνο του προγράμματος και σχεδίασαν αυτές που θα ακολουθήσουν το δεύτερο χρόνο.
The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ project "Integration of Museums into School Education" was held in Madrid on 26 & 27/09/2019. Representatives of the participating organisations presented and evaluated the up-to-now implemented activities and planned the project flow during the second year.

Δεύτερη συνάντηση, στο πλαίσιο του σχεδίου: «Integration of Museums into School Education», στον Πειραιά από 6 έως και 10 Μαΐου 2019
Στόχος: -Ο σχεδιασμός επιτυχών διαθεματικών διδακτικών σεναρίων που συνδυάζουν τρία γνωστικά αντικείμενα: Ιστορία, Γεωγραφία και Αισθητική Αγωγή.
-Η μελλοντική εφαρμογή των διαθεματικών μαθημάτων , από τους συμμετέχοντες εκπαιδευτικούς, σε εναλλακτικά περιβάλλοντα μάθησης όπως μουσεία και χώρους πολιτιστικού ενδιαφέροντος.
Second training activity, in Piraeus, from 6 to 10 May 2019, under the framework of the Erasmus+ KA201 project "Integration of Museums into School Education".
Aim: The successful design of interdisciplinary teaching scenarios, combining three subjects: History, Geography and Aesthetics Education.
-The future implementation of cross-curricular lessons by the participating teachers in alternative learning environments such us museums and places of cultural interest.

Πρώτη πενθήμερη δραστηριότητα επιμόρφωσης, στην πόλη Novo mesto της Σλοβενίας από 11 έως και 15 Μαρτίου 2019.
Στόχος:-Η ανάδειξη της εκπαιδευτικής και κοινωνικής αξίας του μουσείου ως πεδίο κατανόησης του κόσμου.
-Η προσέγγιση του τρόπου και των εργαλείων που θα επιτρέψουν στους εκπαιδευτικούς να προετοιμάσουν σενάρια μαθήματος σε μουσειακούς χώρους, τα οποία θα συμβάλλουν στη μετατροπή των μαθητών από παθητικούς θεατές σε ενεργούς επισκέπτες, ικανούς να αποκωδικοποιήσουν τα μηνύματα των μουσειακών εκθεμάτων, μέσα από διαδραστικές, βιωματικές, δημιουργικές και μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης δραστηριότητες.

First five-day training activity in Novo mesto, Slovenia, from 11 to 15 March 2019.
Aim: -To highlight the educational and social value of the museum as a field of understanding the world.
-To familiarize the participating teachers with specific tools and materials so that they can use them to prepare lesson plans in museum settings.
-To covert students from passive viewers to active visitors capable of decoding the messages of museum exhibits, through interactive, creative, experiential learning and non-formal educational activities.
