Language teacher - Translator- Interpreter This is why I have three native languages: English, Spanish and French.

I was born in Colombia from Irish and German parents and did all my schooling in French. I learnt Italian as a student and when I came to live in Crete I learnt Greek (I have been living in Crete for over 30 years). I have been working as a translator for more than twenty years and as a language teacher for forty years. I have acquired much experience in this field and obtain very positive results

with my students for three basic reasons:
• I speak the students’ language: this means that I can help them more effectively to overcome specific difficulties in mastering a foreign language;
• I am familiar with the culture and habits of the people in all the countries where I have lived: Colombia, France, Ireland and Greece;
• I know that to build a student’s self-confidence, having FUN is the best tool!
