The Summer School for Greek Language, History and Culture of the Ionian University is aimed at young people from the Greek diaspora, as well as people with a special interest in Greek language, history and culture, 18-45 years of age, who wish to gain an introduction to, or deepen their knowledge of, Greek language and culture. The Summer School will operate at the Ionian University in Corfu from
07 to 22 July 2018. The lessons are held in the mornings, from Monday to Friday 10.00-14.00pm, and some afternoons. There will be 24 teaching hours per week, totalling 48 hours for the whole course. Teachers will be academics from the Ionian University and special associates coming mainly from the academic field. The weekly program of the Summer School will include lessons, guided tours of the island's cultural sights, experiential activities and excursions inside and outside Corfu.
