Greek language course at Alexander the Great Institute, Athens

The Imagine project Greece invites you to apply for our Greek Language course, In Athens.
The course starting date is Mid-September 2021
The course duration is 6-8 weeks, depending on the group level
The course is 3 hours every day, 5 days a week
All students are expected to show 90% attendance
Students may enroll in either Morning sessions: 9:30-13:00
Or in Evening sessions: 18:00-21:00
Graduates will receive a recognized certificate of Greek Language studies

Candidates should be:
Refugees or asylum seekers residing in Greece less than 4 years
Over 21 years old
Residing in Athens
Basic+ level of English
Able to commit to the full course

Imagine all the people, living life in peace.

Goodbye Chios. You were our home away from home for more than 4 years. We cried, we laughed, we were one family.

The time to move on is now. We say our final goodbye and hope each and every one of you finds the path to a better future.

Operation of Regional Asylum Offices until 4.4.2021

The Asylum Service informs the public, that in accordance with the measures for protecting the public health and preventing the spread of Covid-19, it can visit a Regional Asylum Services only after scheduling an appointment. This includes interviews and registrations.

Regarding regional offices that operate within very high risk Covid areas, they are going to serve only urgent registrations, as well as lodging of appeals, whilst they will not conduct interviews until April 4th 2021.

Services within very high risk Covid areas [according to the relevant Joint Ministerial Decision of 13-3-2021] are the Regional Asylum Office of Attica, Alimos, Piraeus, Western Greece, Thessaloniki, Crete, and Chios as well as the Asylum Units of Amygdaleza, the Asylum Unit of International Protection of Applicants under custody, the Asylum Unit for Applications by Pakistani nationals, the Asylum Unit for the Fast Track processing of Asylum Applications by Syrian Nationals, Corinth, Ioannina and the Unit for Applications by Albanian and Georgian nationals.

Remote interviews scheduled with RAO Lesvos will take place as planned.

Please note that RAO Attica, AU Fast Track and AU Pakistan will not serve the public on Monday 29.3.2021 and Tuesday 30.3.2021 due to disinfection.

We remind you of the obligation to use a mask inside and outside of the building.
