The Department of Shipping, Trade, and Transport (STT) of the University of the Aegean has announced the opening of applications for the 2024-2025 academic year for the MBA in Shipping program.

🌐 Program Highlights

· Conducted in English with primarily distance learning methods.
· Two short-term intensive phases held at the Department's headquarters.
· Aims to deepen specialized knowledge in the global shipping industry.
· Prepares future executives for successful careers in maritime organizations and shipping companies in Greece and worldwide.

🔍 Program Merits:
· The only Postgraduate Program in Greece offered in English delivered in English using distance learning methods
· Is based on a one (1)-year full-time student attendance schedule and upon completion it awards a Postgraduate MBA Diploma, entitled “Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Mba Shipping

🚢 Navigating New Horizons 🚢

On March 7th, 2024, a Round Table session was held in the framework of the “Maritime Logistics and Intermodality” course for the “MBA in Shipping” students. We were honored to welcome aboard the esteemed Board of Directors of the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association: George Alexandratos, Secretary General; Dr. Nikolaos Liapis, esteemed board member; Stratos Tsalamanios, Treasurer; and Dr. Alkis Korres, Executive Advisor on European Affairs and a distinguished external lecturer. The Round Table discussion was moderated by Prof. Seraphim Kapros.

We appreciate the interactions beyond academic discussions, connecting theory with real-world applications, thanks to industry leaders' insights. Thanks to all participants for sharing their time, knowledge, and dedication to fostering the future generation of maritime professionals.

The dialogue between academia and the shipping industry continues in the University of the Aegean forum.
