🌍✨ Students and teachers from Északi Agrárszakképzési Centrum visited our school as part of an exchange between partner schools, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration, cultural exchange, and sharing experiences among students and educators.
During the visit, among other activities, the projects created by our students using Matterport technology and the Matterport Pro 3 camera were also presented. These projects were developed within the framework of the BIG ART Erasmus+ project. Through immersive 3D virtual presentations, participants had the opportunity to explore how technology and creativity can be integrated into the learning process and in showcasing students’ work. 📸💻
This meeting served as a bridge for cooperation and inspiration among the participating schools, encouraging international collaboration and the use of innovative approaches in education. 🤝✨

We are excited to share the 3rd Newsletter of the BIG ART Project, presenting the latest activities and achievements of our international collaboration between VET institutions in Greece, Albania and Israel.

Experts supported educators in understanding and applying AR/VR and Digital Twin technologies in vocational education.

VET students participated in an intensive training programme combining theory and hands-on practice with 3D scanning and Matterport technology.

Students worked in teams to create virtual tours and digital twins of real environments, applying their new digital skills in real-world contexts.
🔹 National Bootcamps in Greece, Albania and Israel
Student teams presented their projects and the best ones were selected to represent their country in the international event.
🔹 International Bootcamp & Student Competition in Athens
Finalist teams from all partner countries gathered to present their projects and compete in the BIG ART International AR/VR Competition.

🌍 Inside the BIG ART International AR/VR Student Competition
For five inspiring days in Athens, VET students from Greece, Albania and Israel collaborated, created and pushed the boundaries of Augmented Reality and Digital Twin technologies.
During the bootcamp:
📌 The jury defined the evaluation criteria
📌 Teams received mentoring from AR/VR expert Στράτος Λαμπρινός Βλάττας
📌 Students presented their work-based learning AR/VR projects
📌 The event concluded with the awards ceremony and certificates for all participants

🚀 BIG ART National Bootcamp in Greece
On 27 February 2026, the National BIG ART Bootcamp took place in Egaleo, Greece, where VET students presented their virtual tour projects developed using digital twin and immersive technologies.
Five student teams showcased projects based on real production sites and energy infrastructures. After evaluation by the project committee, two projects were selected to represent Greece at the International BIG ART Bootcamp Final in Athens (9–13 March 2026).

🚀 BIG ART National Bootcamp in Albania
On 9 February 2026, the National Bootcamp of the BIG ART project took place at Kolin Gjoka Vocational High School in Albania.
👩🎓👨🎓 15 VET students participated in an intensive hands-on training focused on 3D scanning, Matterport technology, and the creation of virtual tours. The bootcamp concluded with a Hackathon session, where student teams presented their projects and demonstrated their creativity and digital skills.
🏆 A jury evaluated the projects and two teams were selected to represent Albania at the upcoming international BIG ART event in Athens.

Completion of the Pilot Course in Greece ✅
The pilot course of the BIG ART project in Greece has been successfully completed! 🎉
Students had the opportunity to explore Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D Digital Twin technologies 🧠✨, using innovative tools to create and navigate immersive digital spaces within the framework of Vocational Education and Training (VET) 🎓
The pilot course marked an important milestone 🚀 for the practical implementation of the project’s outcomes, strengthening participants’ digital skills 💻 and connecting education with contemporary technological practices 🌐

🌐 Online Mentoring Sessions | BIG ART Project
As part of the BIG ART project, 4 online mentoring sessions were successfully delivered to support teachers after the Train-the-Trainers Bootcamp.
