Our star members Margherita Brodbeck Roth from Switzerland, Tarek Desir from Rwanda, and Niall Finn from Crete are travelling to join us for a very special meeting!
And because this is one of our biannual in-person meetings, we have only one intention:

We are thrilled to announce that our club has officially achieved Distinguished status this year!
Our Distinguished status is a testament to the powerful, supportive ecosystem we have built together at Athens Toastmasters Academy. What makes this achievement truly remarkable is the story of our small but mighty community. By seamlessly bridging cultures and distances through our bilingual, hybrid format, we expanded our footprint far beyond the Athens area—bringing together passionate speakers from Switzerland to Rwanda to Crete.
This diverse, high-quality environment naturally attracted incredible new talent, which we nurtured through a culture of 100% mentorship, ensuring every single member had dedicated guidance. The results speak for themselves: every member delivered at least five speeches this past year, and our collective focus on excellence even propelled us to a championship win at the Area contest level.
This milestone proves that when you have the right support system, distance is no barrier and every voice can grow. We invite you to experience this global, winning culture at our next meeting.

Έρχεται συνάντηση των Toastmasters και δεν έχεις καν ετοιμάσει ομιλία. Ή δεν ξέρεις πως είναι να παίρνεις ρόλο σου έχει ζητήσει μια παρέα να πας.
Αυτή είναι η ευκαιρία σου! Σε μια συνάντηση που η ατζέντα θα φτιαχτεί επιτόπου και με οδηγίες που θα δίνονται ταυτόχρονα θα έχετε λίγο χρόνο να προετοιμαστείτε και να δώσετε το παρον και θα λάβετε τιπς για το πως να περνάτε το καράβι από τους υφάλους ακόμα και στον επαγγελματικό σας χώρο!
Ναι! Μπορεί να γίνει και αυτό! Θα το χάσετε;

Our club is small. Yet, it is miraculous. Thanks to the members, the hard work of the officers Andriana Anagnostopoulou, Margherita Brodbeck Roth, Tarek Desir and Vasiliki Xyfteri and immense help from our District Director Katia Burdet and encouraging words of our Club Growth Director Meltem Altinay we did it!
Now, a new chapter begins!
