ed in Greek (Ο Κύπριος Βιολάρης) in 2022, and (c) a study-guide website. The documentary will become freely available online, upon the book's publication. The Cypriot Fiddler combines ethnographic and documentary methods, bringing together ideas and perspectives from ethnomusicology, life writing, oral and cultural history. The project was based at the Oxford Centre for Life Writing, Wolfson College, University of Oxford, from 2012 to 2019. It has received funding from a British Academy/Leverhulme Trust Small Research Grant, as well as from the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Cyprus.
