In EuroSimulation Athens apart from simulating the legislative procedures of the EU bodies and taking for four days the position of MEPs, Ministers and Heads of States we strongly believe that the most important is to take action about the matters that concern us.
For that reason members of the Organizing Committee visited the Central Warehouse of the Hellenic Red Cross - Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards Sector and donated water,food and other resources that will help the refugees endure the difficult time they find themselves into.
With this gesture we would like to call everybody to act by all means possible.

On Day 3, we had the honor to host an Academic Advisor during the co-decision legislative procedure of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. Mr. Asef Farjam, Intercultural Mediator of the NGO, Doctors of the World, discussed with the participants on the ongoing refugee crisis. We would like to thank him for honoring us with his attendance at this year's conference!

The second scientific expert we had the honor to host in the Council of the European Union was Dr. Zefi Dimadama, Director General of the International Center for Black Sea Studies. During her speech, she outlined the aspects, which should comprise the EU energy framework and the most important steps that need to be taken towards this direction. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Dimadama for accepting our invitation!

EuroSimulation Athens is officially in session for Day 2. Today, we had the honour to host a scientific expert in the Council of the European Union. Dr. Dionysis Papachristou, Head of Press and Public Relations Office of the Regulatory Authority for Energy of Greece, delivered a speech regarding the search for a sustainable energy system in the European Union. We would like to warmly thank him for his crucial contribution to the discussion within the Council.
