To our facilitators: You are the guides who will help bring this game to life. Your role is to encourage curiosity, foster dialogue, and ensure a safe space for reflection and collaboration. Your enthusiasm and guidance will set the tone, so thank you for taking on this important task!

Inspired by critical education, decolonial, and anthropological perspectives, the game invites you and the players to work together, challenge injustice, and envision a fairer world.
Keep in mind, this game uses human rights documents as a general reference point rather than strict legal texts. These serve as an educational tool to introduce key concepts, spark critical thinking, and help players explore both the potential and limitations of human rights.

To our players: Get ready to step into the shoes of global activists, decision-makers, and changemakers. This game isn’t just about winning—it’s about learning, questioning, and imagining a better world. Every move you make, every idea you share, brings us closer to understanding how we can challenge injustice and build a better world!
Your mission is to explore the power of collaboration, discover diverse perspectives, and see how ordinary people (like you!) can create extraordinary change.

The game draws primarily on the texts of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, also bearing in mind the latter’s optional Protocols (armed conflict, sexual exploitation & child labour).

The driving force which conditions the content and gameplay of the game is that the players (students) are seen as active rights-holders who have claims against those with obligations to ensure the fulfilment of those rights (UNICEF, Child Rights-Based Approach). Therefore, participation and empowerment are cornerstone principles for this project.
