Demo Day 2026 celebrated the work of students in the 𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 as they presented innovative ideas and solutions developed throughout the year. Students shared projects focused on solving real problems and creating positive impact in their communities.

The event also marked the launch of the 𝗟𝗘𝗢 𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 through a powerful new collaboration between ACS Athens and the LEO Foundation, an organization committed to creating opportunities for the next generation through leadership, entrepreneurship, and mentorship. The partnership was officially introduced through a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the beginning of this new initiative.

Through this partnership, ACS Athens Open students will have the opportunity to earn scholarships to participate in the LEO Odyssey Program in Washington, D.C., gaining valuable leadership and entrepreneurship experience.

Demo Day 2026 highlighted the power of student innovation and what’s possible when young people are empowered to create, lead, and build for the future.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 💙

This spring, our 4th and 5th-grade students in the 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 (𝗔𝗚𝗖𝗖) 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 at ACS Athens turned compassion into action through a powerful donation drive supporting KYADA and families in need across Athens.

From organizing and promoting the initiative to leading it every step of the way, these students showed the true meaning of leadership, empathy, and community. Together, they collected essential food and school supplies from across the ACS Athens community, proving that even the smallest voices can spark meaningful change.

We couldn’t be prouder of our young global citizens for putting the values of ACS Athens into action and making a difference where it matters most!

🎨🎾 𝗔𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆!

Organized by the ACS Athens Tennis Academy, our Elementary students showcased their creativity through a 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 full of imagination, originality, and artistic flair!

Each creation showcased unique ideas, vibrant colors, and incredible attention to detail, highlighting the imagination and originality of our young students. 💫

The contest featured two categories:
🏆 JK-Kindergarten
🏆 1st Grade

After two rounds of voting by faculty and staff, the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟯 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 in each category were selected based on creativity, originality, and artistic effort. 👏

As excitement builds for the upcoming 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗔 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟴–𝟮𝟵, 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀, this special activity added even more energy and enthusiasm to the spirit of tennis! 🎾

The stage came alive with energy, excitement, and nonstop movement as students from 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 (𝗞𝗚–𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟮), 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝟭–𝟱), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲/𝗛𝗶𝗽 𝗛𝗼𝗽 (𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝟯–𝟱) delivered a spectacular Aladdin-inspired performance! 🕌🧞‍♂️
Throughout the school year, students met weekly in their after-school dance classes, building skills, confidence, and a love for performance. Their hard work and enthusiasm truly shined on stage as dancers from every grade level filled the theater with vibrant choreography, big smiles, and unforgettable energy!

The cheers, applause, and excitement from the audience made this showcase the perfect celebration of an amazing year of dance, creativity, and collaboration. ✨

𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆

We are thrilled to announce that our 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗗𝗖) 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 just took home the 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱! This was the team’s very first time entering this competition, and they hit the ground running (and the sky flying!).

Competing against teams from 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲, 𝗖𝘆𝗽𝗿𝘂𝘀, 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮, our Lancers were recognized for the 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 during autonomous missions where the drones navigated entirely on their own. This demanding challenge blends 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺-𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, and our students tackled it brilliantly.
