🌍 International Youth Day 2026: Different Contexts, Common Aspirations
On International Youth Day, we celebrate the creativity, potential, and aspirations of young people around the world, while recognising the importance of providing them with inclusive, engaging, and future-ready learning opportunities.
Within the Erasmus+ ImSTEAM project, we believe that innovative STEAM education can empower young learners to explore, create, collaborate, and develop the skills needed to address tomorrow’s challenges.
To support this mission, the ImSTEAM partnership has launched an international questionnaire for middle and secondary school educators. The survey invites teachers from different countries and educational contexts to share their experiences of teaching STEAM subjects, the challenges they encounter, and the resources and support they need.
Although educators work in different contexts, they share a common aspiration: to offer young people meaningful, accessible, and inspiring learning experiences.
The findings of this international survey will help the ImSTEAM partnership better understand current STEAM teaching practices and contribute to the development of innovative educational resources and professional learning opportunities for educators.

ΝΕΟ ΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥ | AI Act(ing) in Adult Education: Τι Μάθαμε για τη Χρήση της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στην Εκπαίδευση Ενηλίκων

Πώς χρησιμοποιούν ήδη οι εκπαιδευτές ενηλίκων σε όλη την Ευρώπη την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη; Ποιες είναι οι ανάγκες τους για την αποτελεσματική και υπεύθυνη ενσωμάτωση εργαλείων AI στην εκπαιδευτική τους πρακτική;

Στο πλαίσιο του έργου AI Act(ing) in Adult Education, η ReadLab, ως εταίρος του έργου, συνέβαλε ενεργά στη διακρατική ερευνητική φάση, υποστηρίζοντας τη συλλογή δεδομένων και εμπειριών από τον τομέα της εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων στην Ελλάδα μέσω:

🔹 Desk research σχετικά με τη χρήση του ΑΙ στην εκπαίδευση ενηλίκων
🔹 22 απαντήσεων σε ερωτηματολόγια από εκπαιδευτές ενηλίκων και σχετικούς φορείς
🔹 15 συνεντεύξεων με επαγγελματίες του κλάδου, με στόχο την ανάδειξη των προκλήσεων, των αναγκών και των ευκαιριών που σχετίζονται με την αξιοποίηση του AI

Η έρευνα, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε σε έξι ευρωπαϊκές χώρες (Αυστρία, Βέλγιο, Ελλάδα, Ισπανία, Γαλλία, Ιρλανδία), ανέδειξε ότι η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη αποτελεί ήδη μέρος της καθημερινότητας πολλών εκπαιδευτών ενηλίκων. Παράλληλα, επιβεβαίωσε την ανάγκη για πιο στοχευμένη κατάρτιση, πρακτική καθοδήγηση και θεσμική υποστήριξη, ώστε η χρήση της AI να γίνεται με υπεύθυνο και αποτελεσματικό τρόπο.

Αξιοποιώντας τα ευρήματα της έρευνας, η ReadLab θα συνηγηθεί της ανάπτυξης του AI Training Course, ενός πρακτικού εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος που θα ενισχύσει τις γνώσεις και τις δεξιότητες των εκπαιδευτών ενηλίκων για την υπεύθυνη αξιοποίηση του AI στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία.

🌍 ReadLab at the SAVE International Mobility in Madagascar

From 7–10 July 2026, we had the pleasure of participating at the SAVE VET Excellence Mobility in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The mobility brought together European and Malagasy partners to exchange best practices on food loss and waste, strengthen vocational education and training, and align on the project’s progress and next steps.

As part of the programme, ReadLab delivered the workshop “Quality Self-Assessment on Food Loss and Waste”, contributing practical approaches for evaluating and improving the quality of training provision in this important field.

The four-day programme also included workshops on skills intelligence, public-private dialogue, capacity building and competence frameworks, as well as visits to the University of Antananarivo, Koon Space, and Kentia Formation.

It was a valuable opportunity to meet project partners in person, exchange knowledge, explore local initiatives and reinforce our shared commitment to building stronger and more sustainable VET ecosystems.

Many thanks to Kentia Formation and all participating organisations for the warm hospitality and productive collaboration.

We look forward to continuing our work together through the SAVE project.

✨We are excited to announce the successful kick-off meeting of DIGI-FRAME, held in Palermo on 10–11 June 2026.
Over two productive days, project partners came together to align on objectives, exchange ideas, and set the foundation for developing an innovative AI-powered framework for digital skills assessment.

Strategic alignment meets hands-on innovation!

The ReadLab team has just wrapped up an intensive and highly productive two days at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) for the 3rd WARP Project Transnational Meeting.
As a partner dedicated to driving research, innovation, and educational development, these meetings are where project frameworks turn into real-world impact for the green and digital dual transition in VET education.

The most appealing part was stepping out of the conference room and into the field! Visiting the NTUA Unit of Environmental Science and Technology laboratories gave our data-driven work a profound sense of purpose.

ReadLab, then, proudly led the final technical sessions focusing on strict quality assurance frameworks and continuous reporting to ensure our upcoming deliverables achieve the highest standards.

A massive thank you to our hosts at NTUA and to the entire consortium for the incredible energy. The roadmap for the next phase is officially locked in!

TINKERVERSE is a European Erasmus+ project about Maker Education. The project helps children and young people develop creative, digital, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities. Schools, universities, makerspaces, and educational organizations from different countries work together to share ideas and create new learning activities. The project pays special attention to inclusion, so that children from different backgrounds and learning needs can take part in Maker Education. During the project, partners collect good practices, test activities, and develop materials for teachers and schools. The project also supports teachers by creating training and practical tools for using Maker Education in the classroom or other learning environments. The results of the project include teaching materials, examples of good practices, training resources, and recommendations for schools and organizations.
The purpose of this event is to introduce the project to stakeholders, supporting organisations, educational professionals, policy makers, and other interested parties who contributed to or support the project. During the meeting, participants will receive an overview of the project's objectives, work packages, first results and planned activities for the coming months. The consortium will also present how stakeholders can follow the project through the website, newsletter, and social media channels.
The meeting will conclude with a Q&A in which participants can ask questions, share ideas, and provide feedback that may help strengthen the project and increase its impact within the educational community. The event also offers an opportunity to expand the TINKERVERSE network and explore future collaboration opportunities.

We are delighted to share that ReadLab recently participated in the 1st Transnational Project Meeting of FRAME Project – Food Resilience through Architecturally Modelled Environments, held in Constanța, Romania.

Co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, FRAME brings together partners from across Europe with a shared mission: to harness the power of behavioral science and nudging to drive meaningful change in our food systems.

During the meeting, ReadLab contributed actively to two key work packages:

📚 WP3 – Empowering Changemakers: we presented our work on T3.2, the Gamified MOOC an interactive learning experience designed to make behavioral science training accessible and impactful for a wide range of stakeholders.

💻 WP6 – Communication, Dissemination & Nudging: Alongside partner BIC, we are co-developing T6.3, the Website & Digital Communication Hub, ensuring FRAME's outputs and message reach audiences at both national and European level.

We look forward to the journey ahead: 36 months of collaboration, innovation, and concrete steps toward a more sustainable and resilient European food system.
