When it comes to planning activities for the social inclusion of young migrants, the multi-stakeholder and co-creative strategy is essential. But what does it mean to co-create social inclusion pathways?

It means involving young people with migrant background, practitioners, mediators, civil society members, youth centers, and municipalities or youth councils in a collaborative process. It’s about listening to each other, understanding each other’s perspectives, and building activities that truly value the human, physical, and financial resources we have. 💬

By working together, we create meaningful, impactful opportunities that support young migrants who feel like they truly belong to a community. This co-created approach doesn’t just improve opportunities – it helps build a stronger, more inclusive society where everyone has a voice. 🙌

Have you ever heard of the expression “educating community”? It is about empowering each individual living in the local community in sharing his/her/their talents and skills with others. Why? To create a strong sense of community and collaboration where everyone feels heard, valued and supported.

Do you want to hear of a concrete example of educating community?

In the RAISE project, young people with migrant background were provided with monthly mentoring to identify their talents or whatever topic they wished to deepen their knowledge on, shape their idea of workshop and then share it within the local community. Now, try to picture the amount of impactful ideas that the local community in which you are living could benefit from 😀
