Hello! I copy paste a message sent by Mr. George Zoumpoulis, President of the Student Government:

"Happy new month to all!
As you are aware, the ACG is supporting the victims in Syria and Turkey through the NGOs selected and more info can be found HERE. The ACG is made of all of us individually; and without us, there is no ACG. As a follow-up for the efforts towards this initiative, let us test ourselves to see whether all of us individually can contribute with a 1 Euro donation that can potentially help to build a clinic in one of the affected villages. If all of us put 1 Euro on behalf of one another, we can raise over 3000 Euros. Please pass by outside the Student Government Office from 12:00 - 15:00, on Thursday and Friday, where you will find the donation box, along with the QR code with the following link, in case you have no coins!

Also! We will need volunteers to stand at the booth with us, so if you happen to have time, during the hours above, please pass and feel free to join. Please do your part to share it with your members, peers, and friends. Good luck with midterms and all of your endeavors".

Dr Tziouvara and Ms Mavrikou will be reflecting on their life course as volunteers and presenting their work with the Greek chapter of Médecins du Monde.

The event, organised by the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, is open to all ACG students, faculty and staff.

Time and place: 14:00-15:10 on Thursday 7 April, at the 6th Level Auditorium.

Dear IHP Community,

The American College of Greece and the NGO "Doctors of the World" have joined forces to offer humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine.

The drive will take place from Monday, March 21st to Monday, March 28th, 2022, from 12.00 to 16.00.

There are two collection points: Aghia Paraskevi Campus, Deree Main Corridor, and Alba Campus, Alba Lobby.

We are sharing with you an invitation for this semester's ACG Blood Drive to be held on March 8th, 9th, and 10th in the Student Lounge.

On March 8th, during activity hour (14.10-15.10) a special talk will be held at the Arts Center Auditorium:

Marianna Politou, Professor of Hematology - Transfusion Medicine, Medical School - Director of the MPS of the Medical School "Bleeding - Thrombosis - Transfusion Medicine" will deliver the speech in English.

Isidora Davidoula Mytilinaiou, ACG alumnae, Social Researcher - PhD Candidate Bayes Business School, City University of London (Center for Charity Effectiveness), Academic Field: The Psychological Contract of Hospital Volunteers, will also be present and may address a few words.
