Resees.AE4RIA, Research Laboratory AUEB Research Laboratory on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability at AUEB ReSEES was founded and is being directed by Prof.

Phoebe Koundouri, Professor at the School of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business since 2016. Research Laboratory on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability (ReSEES) does policy relevant interdisciplinary research on environmental, natural resources and energy issues. The overarching goal of the team’s theoretical and empirical research is the theoretical and empiri

cal research that supports the understanding and application of Sustainable Development. ReSEES is part of the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aeiphoria (AE4RIA), an initiative for collaboration between research institutions, innovation accelerators and science-technology-policy interface networks, focused on sustainable development.

🌍AE4RIA at London Climate Action Week 2026

Dr Ioannis Arampatzidis had the honour to participate in the London Climate Action Week as part of the International Climate Councils Network (ICCN) sessions, representing Professor Dr. Phoebe Koundouri, as a member of the Greek Scientific Committee on Climate Change, Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy.

He joined several key meetings with other members of the international councils and the ICCN Secretariat, demonstarting the work of AE4RIA and the SDSN Global Climate Hub and actively contributing to the dialogue on accelerating climate action and strengthening governance.

Nearly 50 council representatives and secretariat staff from 20 ICCN member councils came together, confirming the power of collaboration.
