MBA or MSc?
Work first or postgraduate studies first?
No silver bullet!

At the 16th Panorama of Entrepreneurship and Career Development, Professor Christos Koritos of Alba Graduate Business School shared valuable insights on one of the most important questions graduates face today.
His message was clear: there is no single path that fits everyone.
MBA and specialized MSc programs are academically equivalent, but they respond to different needs and career stages. An MBA is typically the choice of professionals with managerial experience who want to broaden their business perspective, while a specialised master’s is often ideal for recent graduates or young professionals who want to build strong expertise in a specific business field.
Professor Koritos also highlighted the importance of practical experience during undergraduate studies. Internships, volunteering, and team projects can help students better understand the workplace and make more confident decisions about what comes next.
At Alba, we support students and professionals in choosing the path that is right for them, academically, professionally, and personally.
