More moments from our weekend at IP Exhibitions Athens September '26.

We were delighted to see friends and colleagues join us for our invited speaker Roula Mizeraki's talk on restoring the balance between building real language competence and exam preparation. It was great way to remind us of what to keep in mind as we kick off the season and return to our classrooms.

Here's to all the wonderful things we have in store for this academic year.

We were delighted to see friends and colleagues join us for our invited speaker Roula Mizeraki's talk on restoring the balance between building real language competence and exam preparation. "ARE WE TEACHING EFL OR JUST PREPARING STUDENTS FOR EFL EXAMS?"

This week TESOL Greece will be in attendance at the International Publishers Exhibitions Athens Autumn '26 exhibition and we are not only excited to meet and greet all of you before the start of the school year but we are also honored to have Ms Roula Mizeraki as our guest speaker!

We invite you to come with us reflect on the state of our classrooms and our goals in them. As Ms Mizeraki puts it:

"What has led our profession astray from our original goal of teaching English as a foreign language, turning us into mere exam preparation instructors? Why has this happened, what are the repercussions, and how can we refocus our teaching practice?"
