Dear friends of Arcadia Athens, I have some very sad news to share with you all today. Our beloved philosophy teacher, Kostas Kalimtzis, passed away last night. He had some serious health problems and was hospitalized. An infection sent him to intensive care where he was also infected with Covid. He was fully vaccinated.
There will be a memorial service for him this Monday, the 22nd. His ashes will be scattered, appropriately, on the Pnyx where the citizen assembly of ancient Athens met.
If any of you would like to share something about Kostas, please send it to me by email ([email protected]) or DM here on FB. I will collect your thoughts and share them with his wife Chryssa.
I hope, like me, many of you have happy and fond memories of times spent in Kostas' company.
